Magda Delgado
Founder, Voices Unchained Inc.

Magda Delgado

Magda Delgado is the Chief Operating Officer of EYL University, where she leads with vision, strategy, and heart to help scale one of the largest financial literacy communities in the country. With a passion for systems that empower growth, Magda plays a pivotal role in shaping the internal culture and infrastructure that support the development of thousands of learners nationwide.
Born in Praia, Cape Verde, and immigrating to the United States at the age of 4, Magda’s story is one of resilience, transformation, and purpose. She spent 14 years in the medical field, with her final role as an MRI Technologist, before transitioning into the financial education and nonprofit sectors, turning her lived experiences into life-changing impact.

She is the founder of Voices Unchained Inc., a nonprofit organization that supports teen mothers and survivors of childhood trauma, specifically survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Inspired by her own journey of healing, Magda created Voices Unchained to provide trauma-informed programs, community events, and advocacy work that empower individuals to reclaim their voices and rewrite their stories.

Magda is also the author of My Name is King, a children’s book that instills confidence and identity in young boys through powerful affirmations. As a speaker, author, and coach, she uses her voice to amplify conversations around mental health, generational healing, and women’s empowerment.

From boardrooms to classrooms to community stages, Magda Delgado is a powerful reminder that leadership anchored in lived experience can change lives, and legacies.
