At the heart of the Diversity Business Exhibit is a mission to reduce the financial barriers that often prevent diverse businesses and organizations from accessing large-scale platforms like conferences, expos, conventions, and festivals.

These high-visibility events are critical for growth, offering exposure, quality leads, buyer engagement, and expanded client bases. We are committed to ensuring these opportunities are accessible, inclusive, and transformative for underrepresented entrepreneurs and nonprofits.

An integral part of the Diversity Business Exhibit’s mission is helping to minimize the financial barriers associated with BIPOC/minority entrepreneurs having their businesses and organizations included and showcased on large scale platforms like conferences, expos, conventions, and festivals. It is often through these platforms that brands receive maximum exposure, significant leads, buyer connections and growth of their client list and customer base.

To help overcome these obstacles and make these platforms more equitable, the Diversity Business Exhibit  will be providing a limited number of grants to cover either the full or partial costs associated with exhibiting at the event (Ex. booth expense, prep-workshops, technical assistance, marketing materials etc.) for qualifying micro entrepreneurs, creatives and small businesses/nonprofits from the nine (9) select categories listed below:

  • Art, Music & Entertainment
  • Authors & Writers
  • Food & Beverage
  • Hair & Beauty
  • Health & Fitness
  • Mental Wellness & Faith
  • Real Estate & Contractors
  • Fashion & Accessories
  • Science, Technology & Engineering

You may apply for a grant if your brand, business or nonprofit falls under one of the nine (9) select categories AND meets at least ONE of the following criteria listed below:

  • Your organization/brand was formed no earlier than January 01, 2021,
  • Annual revenue is under $25,000 or
  • You have two (2) employees or less

Leveling the Playing Field with the Exhibitor Support Grant

To help overcome systemic barriers and create a more equitable platform, the Diversity Business Exhibit is offering a limited number of exhibitor support grants. These grants will cover full or partial costs associated with participating in the event — including booth fees, prep workshops, technical assistance, and marketing materials.

Support is available to qualifying micro-entrepreneurs, creatives, small businesses, and nonprofits.

Grant Eligibility Criteria

You may apply for an Exhibitor Support Grant if your business, brand, or nonprofit meets at least one of the following criteria:

  • Formed on or after January 1, 2021
  • Generates less than $25,000 in annual revenue, or
  • Has two (2) employees or fewer
