
Grace Díaz has been a dedicated public servant and State Representative for Rhode Island’s District 11 since 2004. She made history as the first Dominican-American woman elected to state office in the U.S. A passionate advocate for equity, she has championed legislation supporting women, children, housing, education, economic opportunity, and immigrant communities. Since 2017, she has served as the MBE/WBE Outreach Director for the City of Providence, leading efforts to increase minority business participation and promote economic inclusion, equity, and resilience for small, women, and minority-owned businesses.
